Welcome to
Tea Together

WHAT IS TT?
From the first jar of Orange Marmalade, made in a moment of idle curiousity, Tea Together has grown an international reputation for its organic gourmet jams, marmalades and chutneyed fruits.

It has done so without compromising the innocence of the method used to make those first jars.

Everything is still prepared from whole fruit that is hand-prepared, chopped and pared and peeled, here on the farm, and then cooked in copper basins by either Clement or Jocelyn. The essential tools are hand, eye, and experience - knowing which method to use for which fruit, judging just when to pull a basin off the fire.

In the Tea Together atelier, there are no fomats. Instead, there is a shared sense of how we want our products to be. Fresh, lively, fragrant, barely cooked rather than over cooked ...but, as in all cooking, the end result cannot surpass the quality of the ingredients or the convictions of the cook.

WHERE IS TT? Tea Together set out with the mission to replace the indifferent spreads that lurked on most hotel breakfast tables with jam good enough to make a British breakfaster lower the newspaper to check where it comes from. Success can be judged by our client list, bounding from the vintage classics like the Dorchester, Claridges, Chateau Marmont, to the new classics of La Reserve, Costes, and One & Onlys.

BEYOND OUR HOTELS, Tea Together is moving into the everyday world, finding perfect partners with Rose Bakery in Paris and Gail's in London, both teaming Tea Together jams with a lively ambience and in-house baking skills. Here you can sit and enjoy your combination of tea or coffee, scone or toast, with the Tea Together jam to fit your mood and the weather.

OUTSIDE OF THE CITIES in the west of England country town of Ludlow, Simon King's micro store has added a cafe to the Grocery that has become a magnet for serious food seekers from around the UK. Simon also stocks a range of our Village Virtuosos, simple but exquisite unprocessed treats direct from the grower-makers. Seek out the luscious Agen Plums grown by Jean-Claude, conserved in his home made eau de vie de pruneaux, then bobbed in dark chocolate for a crackly outer shell.

FURTHER WEST YET, in Millburn New Jersey, Sami and Beatrice have taken up the reins of the Tea Together store and are adding a traiteur fresh-food service to the Epicerie Fine. Their reputation is already made, resting on the Bistro they had in New Jersey and then the restaurant in Toulouse, both of which were the objects of lavish praise , Now they are back on home turf and joined up with Tea Together for a new chapter in their gastronomic progress.
